It was so cold this winter that the ocean was freezing quite thick. I rarely see the ocean freeze in Massachusetts. The ice covering the beach looked like huge sheets of broken glass. It was beautiful. The ice sheets are stacked on top of each other because the incoming tide pushed them in on to the beach.
